on the last day of 2011 - a finality of sentiments

breaking the year down on its last day has been a yearly retrospective for me. 2011- marvelous year, tremendous internship, fulfilling journey. so many things and people to be thankful for. to those, thank you for playing a role in my 2011.

i followed my heart and let go of school, i learnt to ride my fixie on the roof, i experimented, i photographed, i got on wedding shoots, i created my own prints, i cultivated belief.

2011 has been a remarkable year of freedom - from school, and from illness.

and to give further credence to the year, many things went on smoothly. smooth is mostly good, but there exists the unexpected dissonance within the definition of a ‘good year’ - what growth can one make, if smooth was all he underwent?

throw in ‘quick’ to that equation and you feel you’ve had lost a year just like that.

i await the first five months of 2012 with bated breath.
